Chicago pride lives in Dunning! Dunning neighborhood on the city's Northwest Side is home to Dunning Pour House which offers local residents and visitors the nostalgic feel of a traditional Chicago neighborhood bar. The mission is simple - DPH is 100% devoted to generous hospitality, superior quality, and exceptional value.

Owned and operated by Robert "Bobby" Klans, DPH is committed to the spirit of Dunning's working class neighborhood. Bobby is a homegrown Dunning "kid" graduating both grade school and high school at nearby public schools where he met his now wife, Joanne. Shabbona Park is home court where Bobby developed his basketball game and later "taking his talents" to Lane Tech where he played varsity. After high school Bobby attended Michigan State University earning a degree in Hospitality Management. During his tenure with two restaurant groups Bobby achieved an outstanding reputation early receiving national recognition and quickly working his way to GM. Now with his dreams being realized, Bobby brings his outstanding industry experience, and a rooted passion welcoming all guests with a proper Dunning experience. (Bobby and Joanne continue to live in the neighborhood close to friends and family).

Serving Chicago classics, like the Chicago Handshake to craft cocktails, and local brews, DPH offers its guests a place to relax, watch a game, or chat with a neighbor about your favorite (and not so favorite) players and teams. Dunning Pour House offers more than a dozen tables, a 50-foot bar, and a game room for dart leagues and private parties. During the warmer months enjoy our full-service outdoor patio. DPH offers guests unrestricted TV viewing for sports games and events so you can cheer or curse your favorite teams. During the football season stop by DPH to catch all of the league's action.

The Dunning neighborhood is our home. We value our neighbors, friendship, and embody a community that cares about its citizens.
